Job summary

Avery Dennison is seeking a Material Handler to act as the operational backbone of our warehouse. You will maintain inventory accuracy, move raw and finished materials, and keep production lines running smoothly.

The role requires a High School Diploma or GED (or 3+ years in manufacturing/warehouse) and experience with material handling equipment and MFGPro. Shift options include 1:00pm-9:00pm M-F with $22.47/hr starting pay plus a $2/hr shift differential.

Responsibilities

• Material Movement: Load, unload, and transfer raw materials, WIP, and finished goods across shipping, receiving, and production areas using material handling equipment.
• Inventory Control: Complete transactions in MFGPro, conduct cycle counts, and resolve discrepancies.
• Operational Support: Deliver supplies to production, manage rack/drum inventories, support 5S housekeeping and recycling initiatives.
• Safety & Quality: Follow safety protocols, report hazards, and coordinate with shift teams to optimize workflow.

Key Responsibilities

• Material Movement: Safely load, unload, and transfer raw materials, WIP, and finished goods across shipping, receiving, and production areas using material handling equipment.
• Inventory Control: Complete transactions in our Inventory Management System (MFGPro), conduct regular cycle counts, and resolve inventory discrepancies.
• Operational Support: Deliver supplies to production, manage rack/drum inventories, and support 5S housekeeping and recycling initiatives.
• Safety & Quality: Adhere to safety protocols, proactively report hazards, and coordinate with shift teams to optimize workflow

• High School Diploma/GED OR 3+ years of relevant manufacturing/warehouse experience.
• Experience operating material handling equipment and utilizing inventory software (MFGPro preferred).
• Strong attention to detail, communication skills, and commitment to a safety-first mindset.
• Ability to work overtime and adapt quickly to shifting daily
