Job summary

Our client in the food manufacturing sector seeks an experienced Shipping and Receiving Manager to lead inbound and outbound operations in Wisconsin. A relocation package is provided to attract top talent.

You will oversee daily shipping/receiving, manage inventory with FIFO rotation, and ensure compliance with food safety and regulatory requirements. Lead supervisors, optimize labor, and collaborate with Production, Procurement, and Quality to meet business objectives.

Qualifications

7–10 years of shipping/receiving or warehouse ops with leadership experience.
Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain or related field preferred.
Experience in food manufacturing, food safety, and HACCP recommended (FDA/USDA/OSHA/EPA knowledge a plus).
Proficiency with SAP, MRP or similar inventory systems and Microsoft Office.

Responsibilities

Oversee daily shipping and receiving operations ensuring accuracy and timeliness.
Manage inventory, FIFO rotation, and product traceability across locations.
Ensure compliance with food safety, quality, temp control, and documentation requirements.
Lead and develop supervisors and team members, fostering safety and accountability.
Monitor labor, productivity, and costs; drive continuous improvement.
Collaborate with Production, Procurement, and Quality to meet business objectives.
