Goodwin Recruiting is seeking an experienced Sanitation Supervisor to lead the overnight sanitation team in a high-volume food production facility in Wisconsin. The role focuses on food safety, team development, and ensuring equipment is cleaned, sanitized, and ready for daily production.

Relocation assistance is provided. Ideal candidate shows strong leadership, HACCP/GMP knowledge, and ability to operate in refrigerated environments while maintaining safety and efficiency.

Qualifications

• Minimum 2 years of supervisory experience in sanitation within the food industry.
• Strong knowledge of USDA and OSHA regulations.
• Experience with CIP systems, chemical handling, and industrial equipment cleaning.
• Working knowledge of HACCP and GMP standards.
• Ability to work independently during overnight hours and in refrigerated environments.

Responsibilities

• Supervise and lead the night shift sanitation team
• Oversee equipment disassembly, cleaning, sanitization, and reassembly
• Ensure proper staffing levels and shift coverage
• Monitor sanitation efficiency and minimize downtime to support production readiness
• Enforce company safety policies and lead scheduled safety meetings
• Conduct coaching sessions and support employee development
• Prepare and submit nightly sanitation reports
• Conduct accident investigations and maintain safety documentation
• Manage employee attendance and time records
• Maintain training documentation for new hires
• Ensure compliance with food safety standards, HACCP, GMPs, and company policies
