Job summary

Revolution Company in Florence, AL is seeking an experienced Shipping & Receiving Lead to coordinate daily shipping and receiving operations, direct dock activities, and ensure materials and finished products move safely and on schedule. This hands-on leadership role reports to the Plant Manager and supports inventory accuracy and efficient plant operations.

The ideal candidate has 5+ years in shipping/receiving or warehouse roles within manufacturing or distribution, with prior leadership

Qualifications

High school diploma or GED required.
5+ years shipping/receiving/warehouse experience in manufacturing or distribution.
Leadership or trainer experience preferred, 1+ year in lead role.

Responsibilities

Lead daily shipping/receiving operations and coordinate staffing.
Train dock personnel and reinforce safety procedures.
Coordinate shipments, inventory transfers, and material needs with other departments.
Oversee outbound order prep, packing, labeling, and driver documentation.
Oversee receiving, inspect incoming materials, and document discrepancies.
Maintain accurate inventory records and conduct weekly counts.
Perform material handling duties including forklift operation.
Maintain organized warehouse and dock areas following 5S standards.
Enforce safety procedures and coordinate equipment repairs.
