Job summary

GenCorr in Alsip, IL is seeking a Shipping & Receiving Coordinator (10:00 AM – 6:00 PM) to support the Shipping and Receiving Department, ensuring timely shipments per documents and smooth loading/unloading of goods in the warehouse.

The role requires a HS Diploma or GED, material handling experience, forklift certification, and proficiency in MS Office, plus strong communication, analytical skills, and attention to detail. Flex hours may be required.

Qualifications

• HS Diploma (or GED) or higher.
• Experience in material handling, raw and finished goods management.

Responsibilities

• Oversee and direct incoming and outgoing shipping activities to ensure proper handling and timely shipments.
• Coordinate workforce and maintain productive relationships to ensure customer satisfaction.
• Analyze problems, evaluate solutions, and maintain accurate shipping records.
• Maintain shipping priorities and schedules, and improve day-to-day shipping/receiving processes.
• Inspect and manage space for finished products in trailers to prevent damage during shipment.
• Ensure safety and compliance with policies, environmental rules, OSHA, and procedures.
• Regular and predictable attendance and willingness to work flexible hours.
