Job summary

CGI, Inc is seeking a hands-on supervisor to support facilities, shipping and receiving operations. The role involves assigning daily tasks, training staff, and coordinating shipping activities to ensure smooth operations.

The ideal candidate will be able to manage preventive maintenance, schedule weekend coverage, and maintain shipping supplies while delivering excellent customer service and working collaboratively with the production team.

Qualifications

• General knowledge of warehouse procedures.
• Some physical effort required in lifting.
• Must have a valid forklift operator permit.
• Must have strong interpersonal skills and ability to work in a team environment.
• Ability to work independently without regular direct supervision.
• Must provide excellent customer service.

Responsibilities

• Assign tasks per facilities task sheet and ensure daily completion.
• Train facilities, shipping and receiving employees.
• Coordinate and ensure shipping/receiving, direction and support systems are completed daily.
• Schedule preventive maintenance activity detail sheet and assign weekend coverage.
• Order and maintain all shipping supplies.
• Perform other duties as assigned.

Job Summary:

Works closely with the Production Manager to support all facilities, shipping and receiving activities.

Functions:

Responsible for assigning tasks per facilities task sheet and ensuring all tasks are complete daily

Train’s facilities, shipping and receiving employees

Coordinates and ensures all shipping and receiving, working direction and support systems are completed daily

Schedule’s preventive maintenance activity detail sheet to ensure completion by due date. This will include assigning personnel for weekend coverage

Responsible for ordering and maintaining all shipping supplies

Other duties as assigned

Knowledge, skills, and abilities:

General knowledge of warehouse procedures

Some physical effort required in lifting

Valid permit for operation of forklift

Must have strong interpersonal skills and ability to work in a team environment

Build strong internal and external relationships using effective verbal and written communication skills

Work independently without regular direct supervision
