Job summary

Flex-N-Gate LLC. is seeking a shipping clerk to ensure timely release of materials to production and customers. This role supports warehouse receipt of raw materials, maintains inventories, and generates necessary paperwork for transportation in a three-shift operation.

The candidate will handle ASN processes, track material movements, and ensure records align with invoices and CMS data, while upholding strong attention to detail and teamwork across shifts.

Qualifications

• Must have 2–3 years shipping experience in manufacturing or a fast-paced environment.
• Strong organizational and communication skills (verbal and written).
• Proficiency with database applications and Microsoft Office.
• Motivated, service- and team-oriented with attention to detail.

Responsibilities

• Manage shipping schedules and follow up on attestations.
• Prepare materials for shipping according to schedules and generate paperwork for transportation.
• Process ASN notifications and maintain records for accuracy.
• Monitor and update material exits, FIFO labeling, and inventory movement.
• Track deliveries and keep portal data updated; communicate shift information clearly.

Summary

Responsible to assure shipping/receiving proper materials to/from each customer in accordancewith release quantities, shipping windows and deliver proper paperwork to customer´s transportation service. May be responsible to assure receipt raw material in warehouse and keeping up date inventories and invoices in CMS System; provide material on time to production area. THIS FACILITY IS A THREE SHIFT OPERATION, CANDIDATE MUST BE WILLING AND ABLE TO WORK ANY SHIFT.

Job Duties

• Shipping schedules follow up/attainment
• Maintaining shipping boards Prepare materials for shipping as per shipping schedules
• Generates and provides proper paperwork for transportation
• ASN notification process, keep records on ASN checker
• Returnable containers records
• Monitors and maintains customer supplier portal
• Registers material´s exit
• Communicates pertinent information per shift
• Examine shipment contents and compare with invoices to verify accuracy
• Record discrepancies in order to make a failure warning if it is necessary
• Make the receipt of material by ASN
• Generate FIFO label for each material
• Locate raw material according to layoutFollow FIFO System
• Track deliveries and transit of materials supplier
• Generate list of materials in transit and update daily

Requirements

• High School Diploma/GED
• 2-3 years related experience in shipping activities in a manufacturing or similar fast-paced environment. Supervisory experience would be an asset
• Strong organizational skills
• Strong communication skills (both verbal and written).
• Proficiency with database applications and administration systems, specifically Microsoft Office
