Job summary

ANDRITZ Schuler Incorporated in Canton, Michigan is seeking an Inventory Control & Shipping/Receiving Clerk to maintain accurate inventory and manage shipping/receiving duties across internal departments and customers. You will perform cycle counts, verify documents, and ensure timely shipments.

The role requires 1–3 years in inventory or shipping, ERP and MS Office proficiency, and the ability to operate Hi-Lo and crane. Strong organizational and communication skills are essential.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• 1–3 years’ experience in inventory, shipping, or receiving.
• Experience with ERP systems and proficiency in Microsoft Office.
• Ability to operate forklift (Hi-Lo) and crane.
• Possess or able to obtain a Chauffeur's Driver's License if required.
• Proficient with computers and learning new software.
• Highly organized, time conscious, and customer focused.
• Strong analytical thinking and independent judgment.
• Able to multitask in a dynamic environment and adapt to change.
• Self-motivated, results oriented, and team oriented.
• Excellent listening, verbal, and written communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Receive and unload shipments using pallet jack, Hi-Lo, or crane.
• Verify shipping documents and conformity with POs; report discrepancies.
• Record inventory movements and maintain accurate records.
• Conduct cycle counts and keep organized stock records.
• Maintain organized warehouse using FIFO for materials and internal jobs.
• Pick, pack, and ship parts; generate pack lists and ship documents.
• Tag and identify goods by correct requirements.
• Coordinate shipping/receiving for ANDRITZ BCN, Inc.; schedule/load trucks.
• Count and restock unused product from projects and repairs.
• Communicate with purchasing on depletion and coordinate shipments with departments.
