Job summary

Schleifring North America is seeking a Shipping-Receiving Inventory Associate to manage inventory, process orders for shipment, and maintain accurate records. This role requires careful packaging, labeling, material receipt, and kitting for production, with hands-on operation of pallets and light forklifts.

You will use SAP/ERP to document transactions, coordinate with carriers, and support ISO/5S standards while collaborating across departments in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

• Must be legally authorized to work in the United States (Citizen, Green Card)
• High School Diploma or equivalent
• 2+ years shipping/receiving experience preferred
• Knowledge of SAP is required
• Highly detail oriented
• Strong interpersonal skills and ability to work cooperatively in team environment
• Able to lift up to 50 lbs
• Experience with ISO and 5S standards

Responsibilities

• Process orders of finished goods for shipment
• Store and control items in stock room and designated satellite storage locations
• Pick items and product to fill orders
• Receive incoming material
• Kitting of parts for production use
• Work with shipping services (UPS WorldShip, FedEx) to arrange shipments
• Maintain the work area and equipment in a clean, safe condition
• Load and unload trucks by hand or with a hand pallet jack or walk-behind forklift

Shipping-Receiving Inventory AssociateReports to:Logistics SpecialistSummary:The shipping-receiving inventory associate is responsible for tracking inventory levels, handling all aspects of shipping and receiving, and keeping accurate records. On the shipping side, he/she packages items, prints labels, weighs packages and determines appropriate postage.Responsibilities:Processing orders of finished goods for shipmentStore and control items in stock room and designated satellite storage locationsPick items and product to fill ordersReceive incoming material.Kitting of parts for production use.Working with UPS Worldship, FedEx.com and other shipping services to include trucking companies.
