Job summary

Express Employment Professionals in Kent, WA is seeking a hands-on Warehouse/Shipping Associate to support packaging, shipping, inventory stocking, and van deliveries. The role requires a valid driver’s license, forklift experience, and attention to detail. Day shift, Mon-Fri from 6:00 am to 2:30 pm.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or GED equivalent, preferred.
• 1 year of relevant experience, preferred.
• Valid Driver's license and acceptable safe driving record to meet insurance requirements.
• Forklift experience is preferred; forklift certification must be obtained upon hire and maintained throughout employment.
• Ability to read and accurately interpret pick tickets and similar inventory documents.
• Attention to detail and demonstration of accurate counting, measurement, and associated recordkeeping.
• Professional written and verbal communication skills (English).
• Consistently legible handwriting (English).
• Self-motivated with ability to work under general supervision.
• Team oriented with effective communication skills.
• ERP experience is preferred.

Job Summary: Primary duty is to support production controlgroupdoing packaging and shipping duties along with inventory stocking and picking and driving of companyvan.

Essential Functions:

• Verifies and keeps records on outgoing shipments and prepares items for shipment:Compares identifying information and counts, weighs, or measures items of incoming and outgoing shipments to verify information against bills oflading, invoices, orders, or other records. Attach labels and prepare packaging.


• Support the shipment of goods produced.


• Examine outgoing shipments to ensure shipments meet specifications.


• Maintain the work area/equipment in a clean and orderly condition and follow prescribed safety regulations.


• Delivers and picks up from local suppliers in companyvehicle

Physical Demands and Work Environment

To perform the essential functions of the role, employees must be able to perform the following activities with or without reasonable accommodation:

Working Conditions

Work is performed in a manufacturing warehouse environment where working conditions may vary significantly; the employee will be exposed to:

• Moderate Noise

• Dust, smoke, fumes/vapors (occasionally)


• Extreme temperatures (occasionally)


• Sharp instruments including box cutters, scissors, and other tools used in packaging/shipping

The use of PPE, including hearing protection, eye and hand protection, and use of safety footwear is required.

This position is classified assafety-sensitive.

Day Shift: Monday - Friday, 6:00 am - 2:30 pm

Compensation is determined by relevant experience, skills, certification.

This position must meet ITAR (International Traffic in Arms Regulations) compliance; therefore, qualified candidates must meet the definition of a U.S. Person (per EAR Part 772 and ITAR 120.15):
