Nikon AM Synergy Inc. is seeking a Shipping & Receiving/Driver to manage daily shipping, receiving, material handling, and transportation operations at our Long Beach facility.

The role focuses on accurate receiving, safe transportation of aerospace/defense parts, and meticulous documentation in a fast-paced manufacturing environment. The ideal candidate is organized, safety-focused, and capable of navigating high-value operations while maintaining strict compliance with PPE and regulatory

Qualifications

• Valid Class C driver's license and clean driving record.
• Must be eligible to obtain a company-sponsored DoD security clearance.
• Experience with shipping, receiving, inventory, and material handling.
• Strong organizational and communication skills.
• Ability to operate forklifts, pallet jacks, and other material-handling equipment.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office and digital documentation tools.
• Ability to lift and move materials weighing up to 50 lbs. regularly.
• Ability to work in a manufacturing environment and follow PPE and safety requirements.

Responsibilities

• Supervise and coordinate daily shipping and receiving activities.
• Inspect, package, label, stage, and document incoming and outgoing materials.

• Maintain compliance with company safety, quality, AS9100, and ITAR requirements.
• Provide daily status updates and support continuous improvement initiatives.

Position Summary

We are seeking a Shipping & Receiving/Driver to oversee daily shipping, receiving, material handling, inventory support, and transportation activities. This role will ensure materials and high-value aerospace/defense parts are accurately received, packaged, documented, stored, and safely transported between vendors, customers, and company facilities. The ideal candidate is organized, safety-focused, detail-oriented, and comfortable working in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.

Key Responsibilities

• Supervise and coordinate daily shipping and receiving activities.


• Inspect, package, label, stage, and document incoming and outgoing materials.


• Maintain accurate inventory, records, and material traceability.


• Safely operate company vehicles for pickups and deliveries.


• Load, unload, and secure materials using pallet jacks, carts, lifts, and forklifts.
