Job summary

Canon Business Process Services in Sunnyvale, CA is seeking a Shipping & Receiving Coordinator II to manage inbound and outbound shipments under general supervision. You will prepare bills of lading, assist in loading, and ensure accurate shipment records.

The role requires 2–5 years in shipping/receiving or a professional office setting, knowledge of domestic and international carriers, and the ability to work overtime.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• 2-5 years' experience in shipping/receiving or a professional office environment.
• Working knowledge of domestic and international shipping carriers, customs, duties and regulations.
• Excellent customer service and professional appearance.
• Ability to work overtime and meet deadlines.

Responsibilities

• Assemble orders and prepare goods for shipment.
• Record shipment data, including weight, charges, and space availability.
• Receive and unpack materials and supplies.
• Report damages and discrepancies to request reimbursement or re-shipment.
• Maintain logs of all shipments outgoing and incoming.
• Prepare monthly production and volume reports to measure productivity and billing charges.
• Unpacks and examines incoming shipments, rejects damaged items, records shortages and coordinates with shipper.
• Conveys materials from receiving or production areas to storage or other designated areas.
• Fill requisitions, work orders or requests for materials, tools, or other stock items and distribute accordingly.
• Posts weights and shipping charges and affixes postage.
• Marks materials with identifying information.
