Job summary

IPG is seeking a Shipping/Receiving Coordinator to manage inbound and outbound shipments, maintain inventory records, and ensure regulatory compliance. The role emphasizes strong organizational skills and teamwork in a fast-paced manufacturing setting.

Ideal candidates will have a High School diploma and 2+ years in manufacturing, with proficiency in Microsoft Office and experience operating warehouse equipment. This hourly non-exempt position offers growth and cross-department collaboration.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or equivalent required.
• 2+ years of manufacturing strongly preferred.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office suite required.
• Excellent written and oral communication skills required.
• Exceptional organizational and time management skills required.
• Knowledge of hazardous materials handling and shipping regulations (DOT, IATA) is beneficial.
• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and operate warehouse machinery safely.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate and manage all incoming and outgoing shipments.
• Inspect deliveries for damage, verify contents against packing lists, and resolve discrepancies.
• Prepare shipping documentation including labels, bills of lading, and invoices.
• Communicate with carriers and freight forwarders to schedule pickups and deliveries.
• Maintain accurate inventory records through cycle counts and reconciliations.
• Operate warehouse equipment such as forklifts, pallet jacks, and RF scanners.
• Organize warehouse space to optimize storage and minimize product damage.
• Ensure compliance with federal, state, and company regulations regarding shipping and receiving.
• Provide excellent customer service to internal departments and external vendors.
• Assist with physical inventory counts and reporting
• Related tasks as requested by supervisor/manager
