Job summary

Superior Spindle Services in Taylor, MI is seeking a Shipping and Receiving associate to coordinate inbound and outbound shipments, maintain accuracy in the work order system, and ensure proper packaging and delivery in line with customer and company requirements.

On-the-job training is provided; high school diploma required; 5+ years shipping/receiving experience preferred; forklift certification preferred; strong computer and communication skills essential; competitive salary and benefits.

Responsibilities

• Maintain and coordinate activities of all involved in the shipping & receiving process.
• Monitor inbound receipts for priority and data entry into the work order system.
• Monitor outbound shipments and ensure proper packaging and tracking in the work order system.
• Interface with Customer Service and Sales to resolve issues.
• Coordinate local delivery schedules with drivers and Sales team.
• Perform shipping/receiving including loading/unloading LTL shipments (forklift certification required).
• Coordinate changing delivery and priority requirements.
