Opti Staffing Group is seeking a Shipping & Receiving Coordinator in Tigard, OR. The role focuses on processing outbound shipments, preparing products for dispatch, and coordinating with freight carriers to move materials efficiently.

The candidate will maintain records, support inbound/outbound freight, and collaborate with multiple departments while adhering to safety and quality standards. A forklift cert within 90 days is required.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• At least 1 year of shipping/receiving experience.
• Proficiency with computers and entering data into an MRP or similar system.
• Knowledge of shipping documentation and freight coordination.
• Strong attention to detail and ability to read/understand shipping schedules.
• Valid driver’s license and ability to meet insurance requirements for company vehicles.
• Ability to work independently while collaborating with a team.
• Strong communication skills for interdepartmental coordination.
• Willingness to cross-train and assist other departments.
• Forklift certification training to be completed within first 90 days.

Responsabilités

• Process outbound shipments using the MRP system, ensuring accuracy and compliance with customer requirements.
• Prepare products for shipment, including packing, documentation, and carrier coordination.
• Coordinate inbound and outbound freight, including international shipments.
• Verify order information, shipping schedules, and documentation for accuracy.
• Maintain shipping records per company procedures and industry standards.
• Drive company vehicles to pick up or deliver merchandise as needed.
• Cross-train with Inventory & Receiving and assist with receiving/inventory duties as needed.
• Collaborate with Accounting, Sales, Engineering, and Manufacturing to support daily operations.
• Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work area.
• Follow safety procedures and quality standards.
