Qualifications

• Prior shipping/receiving experience.
• Warehouse or manufacturing experience.
• Strong attention to detail with accuracy in records.
• Computer proficiency for heavy administrative tasks.
• Experience with shipments and bills of lading preferred.

Responsibilities

• Assist in delivering items to customers by verifying orders, inventorying stock, and arranging transportation.
• Place and expedite orders.
• Verify items shipped by matching bills of lading and reconciling quantities.
• Note any discrepancies in shipments.
• Keep customers informed by forwarding notice of item availability, shipment date and method, and current status.
• Answer customer questions regarding orders and shipments via phone and computer.
• Maintain accurate records and documentation.
• Identify issues and problems and seek assistance in resolving them as needed.
