Job summary

Envision Cold in San Francisco is seeking a Shipping & Receiving Coordinator to act as the company’s representative to drivers, customers, and staff. You will help maintain accurate inventory levels, ensure timely deliveries, and resolve any shipping or receiving issues while upholding safety and quality standards.

Hours are Monday–Friday 5:30AM–2:00PM. Overtime may be required. Accessible by public transit or parking available onsite.

Qualifications

• Shipping and Receiving experience required.
• Fluency in English, both verbal and written.
• Outstanding organizational skills with great attention to detail.
• Proficient computer skills with WMS, Excel, Outlook and Word.
• Ability to prioritize and work in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities

• Verify shipping and receiving information and prepare documents.
• Ensure outgoing orders are packed and labeled correctly.
• Provide customers with tracking information and updates.
• Sign drivers in and out and direct carriers to dock doors.
• Record received items in the warehouse management system.
• Communicate with carriers to optimize shipping and delivery.
• Provide regular inventory and shipping reports to management.
• Organize workload and meet tight deadlines.
• Perform other duties as assigned.

Description

As a Shipping & Receiving Coordinator you will represent Envision Cold to our drivers, customers and staff. Able to work in a fast-paced environment, you will aid in maintaining accurate inventory levels, ensuring timely deliveries, addressing any shipping or receiving issues, and ensuring compliance with safety and quality standards.

Hours are Monday - Friday 5:30AM - 2:00PM. Overtime may be required. Accessible by public transit or parking available onsite.

What you'll do (including, but not limited to):

• Verify shipping and receiving information, prepare documents, process freight bills, packing sheets, and other necessary paperwork.
• Ensure that all outgoing orders are accurately prepared for shipping, including packing, labeling, and ensuring they meet any specific requirements.
• Provide customers with tracking information, shipping updates, and any issues regarding deliveries.
• Sign drivers in and out.
• Direct carriers to dock doors upon arrival and update in system to ensure accuracy upon unloading/loading of goods and materials.
• Ensure that all received items are properly recorded in the warehouse management system (WMS) or inventory system.
• Communicate with carriers to establish efficiency with shipping and delivery of products.
• Provide regular reports to management regarding inventory, shipments, and receiving processes, highlighting any issues that need resolution.
• Organize and prioritize workload, working with tight deadlines.
• Perform other duties as assigned/needed.

Requirements

• Must be 18 years or older.
• Shipping and Receiving experience required.
• Outstanding organizational skills with great attention to detail.
• Fluency with the English language, both verbal and written.
• Good attendance record and good work ethic.
• Ability to prioritize needs and reassess business demands.
• Capable of working in a very fast-paced and ever-changing day-to-day operation while being able to stay on task and multi-task as needed.
• Proficient computer skills, including experience with WMS, Excel, Outlook and Word.
