Job summary

Nextran Truck Centers in Jacksonville is seeking a Shipping & Receiving Coordinator to oversee all incoming and outgoing shipments, maintain accurate inventory, and support fast-paced warehouse operations.

The role requires strong organizational and communication skills, familiarity with shipping procedures, and the ability to work flexible hours. Automotive parts experience is a plus.

Qualifications

• Two year related/relevant experience.
• High school diploma or equivalent; associate degree or logistics cert is a plus.
• Some automotive/heavy-duty truck parts experience preferred.
• Excellent organizational, leadership and communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Coordinates all shipping and receiving activities, including scheduling, labeling, packing and inspecting shipments.
• Maintains inventory control and resolves discrepancies.
• Communicates with carriers, suppliers and internal departments to resolve issues and improve efficiency.
• Maintains accurate records of shipments, receipts and returns.
• Operates warehouse equipment as necessary and keeps the area neat.

The Shipping & Receiving Coordinator ensures accurate and timely processing of incoming and outgoing shipments, maintaining inventory accuracy and leads to achieve departmental goals in a fast-paced warehouse environment.

Essential Duties Include

• Coordinates all shipping and receiving activities, including scheduling, labeling, packing and inspecting shipments.
• Ensures compliance with company policies, safety standards and shipping regulations.
• Monitors and maintains inventory control systems, resolving discrepancies as needed.
• Communicates with carriers, suppliers and internal department to resolve issues and improve efficiency.
• Maintains accurate records of shipments, receipts and returned goods.
• Operates warehouse equipment (e.g. forklift, pallet jack, etc.) as necessary.
• Ensures warehouse is always neat and clutter free.
• Other duties as assigned.

Preferred Candidates Have The Following

• Two year related/relevant experience
• High school diploma or equivalent. Associate degree or certification in logistics a plus
• Some automotive and/or heavy-duty truck parts experience preferred
• Excellent organizational, leadership and communication skills
• Ability to work flexible hours including weekends
• Strong mathematical and analytical skills
• Computer proficiency, including Microsoft Office (Word, Excel)
