Job summary

Roberts PolyPro is seeking a Shipping and Receiving Clerk to accurately process orders for shipment and receive materials against purchase orders. The role reports to the Purchasing Manager and sits in Charlotte, NC.

Key duties include organizing warehouse operations, maintaining logs, preparing shipping documentation, and ensuring safety compliance. Proficiency with Syteline ERP and strong attention to detail are essential.

Qualifications

• High School/GED required.
• Detailed knowledge of warehouse procedures.
• Administrative skills with Word, Excel and Outlook.
• Ability to partner with employees and vendors.
• Organized and detail-oriented.
• Experience with inventory control and ERP systems (Syteline preferred).
• Accuracy and attention to detail.

Responsibilities

• Organize and operate warehouse shipping and receiving.
• Maintain shipping and receiving logs and files of shipping records.
• Prepare packing lists, bills of lading and other shipping docs; coordinate with Customer Service.
• Ensure compliance with workplace safety procedures and restrict access to loading docks.
• Receive items by comparing packing lists and PO numbers; verify discrepancies and tag parts as needed.
• Track inventory movements and enter data in Syteline ERP system; assign parts to job carts.
• Close outside processing jobs and issue parts to machine builds.
• Maintain inventory records for machines, spare parts, and raw materials.
• Ship items matching customer orders and verify lot numbers.
• Perform daily inventory cycle counts and physical counts as required.
