Job summary

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED equivalent preferred.
• Equivalent work experience accepted (3 years’ experience in supply chain).
• Good mathematical skills required.
• Basic computer skills (MS Office, MMIS, and other related software applications).
• Strong oral and written communication skills (proficiency in customer service).
• Ability to communicate effectively with all stakeholders (customers, coworkers, etc.).
• Ability to work in a busy and high-pressure healthcare environment.
• Ability to follow verbal and written instructions to accomplish repetitive tasks.
• Ability to input receiving transactions into computer and output logs of daily transactions.
• Ability to operate material handling equipment after training.
• Valid Florida driver’s license and have a good driving record.

Responsibilities

• Receive, unload, and inspect deliveries
• Verify received items against packing list and complete input into system
• Inspect all cartons for visual damage before approving receipt
• Mark all cartons with P.O. number and department destination
• Deliver supplies and obtain authorized signature when applicable
• Maintain files of all packing lists and signed delivery documents
• Prepare outgoing shipments under supervision
• Maintain cleanliness and organization of work area
• Perform other related duties as assigned
