Job summary

Johnson Service Group is seeking Shipping and Receiving candidates in Fremont, CA for a contract assignment with potential to become full-time based on performance. Forklift experience with a valid license is required, along with experience in Inventory Control and Order Picking.

Responsibilities include order picking, packing, inbound receiving, stock organization, inventory counts, data entry in WMS, and loading shipments. Day and swing shifts offered with forklift certification bonuses.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent.
• Forklift experience with valid license.
• Experience with Inventory Control and Order Picking.
• Ability to lift up to 50 pounds.
• Ability to stand for long periods; work in a team.

Responsibilities

• Order picking from designated locations with accurate labeling and quantity checks.
• Assist in packing picked items for shipping and labeling.
• Inbound receiving: check quality/quantity and label items.
• Organize stock in warehouse locations for easy retrieval.
• Assist in inventory counts and report discrepancies.
• Enter inventory data into the WMS or inventory system.
• Prepare packages for shipping and ensure proper protection for transit.
• Assist in loading shipments onto trucks following safety guidelines.
