Job summary

Qualifications

One year of work experience in shipping and receiving.
Familiarity with packing and shipping methods preferred.
Ability to operate a computer keyboard and 10-key by touch.
Forklift certification and valid driver’s license.
Effective written and spoken communication.
Basic computer literacy and data entry.
Customer service and problem-solving skills.

Responsibilities

Physically prepares and ships outbound customer orders and verifies product accuracy.
Assembles containers, inserts items with padding and spacers.
Determines shipment method according to procedures, routes and rates.
Prepares and affixes shipping labels and posts weights and charges.
Uses ERP/WMS and external software to process shipments and maintain records.
