Job summary

Chart Industries in New Iberia, LA is seeking a Shipping & Receiving Clerk 2 to move materials, read BOMs/CMTRs, and support assembly schedules on-site. You will operate forklifts, follow safety guidelines, and ensure timely delivery of components to production areas.

The role requires prior shipping/receiving experience, forklift certification, and a high school diploma, with education potentially substituted by extended experience.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Experience in Shipping and Receiving.
• Forklift operating experience required.
• Education may be substituted by extended experience.

Responsibilities

• Move material and products utilizing forklifts (large and small) and other methods.
• Work with proper safety and housekeeping practices and guidelines.
• Identify material from bill of material and/or cut lists.
• Gather material from stock or from storage after prepatory operations and deliver it to the points of assembly in the sequence required to meet assembly schedules.
• Must be able to read and interpret CMTR to check in material per customer specifications.
• Assist in other areas as needed.
• Works with minimum supervision.
• Add’l duties and responsibilities may be assigned.
