Job summary

Centro, Inc. is seeking a reliable Shipping & Receiving Clerk to join our Material Handling team. This role ensures accurate receipt, storage, movement, and shipment of materials and finished products, supporting production and on-time customer delivery.

The position requires forklift experience, attention to detail, and safe handling of materials. You will maintain inventory records, handle shipping paperwork, and assist in training teammates as needed.

Qualifications

• Forklift experience required.
• Basic math skills (addition, subtraction, multiplication, division).
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Strong organizational and communication skills.
• Basic computer skills and experience with inventory/shipping software preferred.

Responsibilities

• Prepare customer orders for shipment with accurate counts, labeling, packaging and documentation.
• Verify products against shipping orders and customer requirements.
• Generate and maintain shipping paperwork such as packing lists and bills of lading.
• Coordinate truck loading/unloading activities.
• Process UPS shipments and related shipping documentation.
• Conduct cycle counts and inventory checks as assigned.
• Receive incoming materials and inspect for damage; verify quantities.
• Label and store materials in designated locations; move materials safely using equipment.
• Maintain accurate records and inventory documentation; keep areas clean and safe.
