Job summary

OSI Group Batavia, IL is seeking a detail-oriented logistic support professional to prepare shipping documents, process inbound/outbound shipments, and answer inquiries. You will use MS Office tools, enter data into the system, and ensure accuracy of records.

Qualifications

• 0-1 years of experience in related field is preferred.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office products.
• Ability to read and understand shipping and receiving documents.
• Data entry into established computer programs; create simple documents and spreadsheets.
• Ability to communicate courteously and effectively with coworkers, supervisors, customers, and drivers.
• SAP knowledge is a plus.
• 1 year of manufacturing or equivalent experience.
• Bilingual is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Prepare documents, such as work orders, bills of lading, and shipping orders to route materials and record shipment data.
• Prepare outbound product with seals and labels and stage for pick up using equipment.
• Receive inbound deliveries by reviewing contents, order records, manifests, and invoices; verify and record receipts.
• Respond to customer inquiries courteously and timely; investigate shipping issues, inventory levels, and costs.
• Perform routine clerical tasks including filing, sorting, printing, copying, and faxing.
• Comply with organization rules including safety procedures and GMP.
• Maintain a clean and organized work area.
• Understand and practice appropriate safety procedures.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
