Job summary

CJ Logistics in Stockton, CA is seeking a Shipping & Receiving Clerk to be the first point of contact for drivers and ensure shipments depart and arrive without a hitch. The 2nd shift runs Sun–Thu, 2:00 pm–10:30 pm, with a $0.75 shift differential on top of the $22.50 per hour base pay.

You’ll greet drivers, verify paperwork, manage dock doors, and keep accurate trailer inventories and yard reports while collaborating with shift leads to meet daily goals. Training is provided.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED is required.
• Experience with Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) preferred.
• Familiarity with Blue Yonder/Korber/AS400 or other warehouse management systems is a plus.
• Detail-oriented with ability to juggle multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment.
• Strong verbal and written communication; team player.

Responsibilities

• Greet and direct drivers; sign in/out and verify paperwork.
• Maintain trailer inventory with real-time updates on doors and yard reports.
• Coordinate yard moves with spotters to ensure smooth activity.
• Process Bills of Lading and reconcile shipments with packing slips.
• Maintain inbound/outbound schedules and door reports for accuracy.
• Deliver excellent customer service to internal and external customers.
