Job summary

CJ Logistics America is hiring a Shipping & Receiving Clerk to act as the first point of contact for drivers and ensure shipments arrive and depart smoothly. You will manage sign-in/out, paperwork verification, and dock door assignments while maintaining inventory accuracy and real-time yard updates.

The role emphasizes multitasking, teamwork, and a commitment to safety and efficiency in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

High School Diploma/GED required; experience with Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) preferred.
Tech-savvy; familiarity with warehouse management systems is a plus.
Detail-oriented and able to juggle multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment.
Strong verbal and written communication skills.
Team player who works well with others to achieve shift goals.
Reliable and dependable in meeting commitments.

Responsibilities

Greet and direct drivers; sign in/out, verify paperwork, assign dock doors for inbound/outbound loads.
Maintain trailer inventory with real-time updates on doors and yard reports.
Coordinate yard moves with spotters to ensure smooth yard activity.
Process Bills of Lading and reconcile shipments with packing slips.
Maintain inbound/outbound schedules and accurate door reports.
Deliver excellent customer service as the face of the facility.
