Job summary

Bodycote plc in Fountain Inn, SC is seeking a Shipping & Receiving Clerk who will support heat treatment operations under the Production Manager, handling loading/unloading, BOLs, and customer communications.

You will maintain shipping areas, ensure safety and housekeeping, and assist other staff as needed. Hours are Monday through Friday, with overtime as needed. ITAR awareness, HS diploma, basic IT skills, and ability to lift up to 35 lbs in an industrial setting are required.

Qualifications

• ITAR compliance required; must be a U.S. citizen or permanent resident.
• High school diploma or equivalent is required.
• Minimum one year of experience with computer applications (Microsoft Office); ability to learn new software.
• Some shipping experience is desirable.
• Must be able to operate a pallet jack.
• Must be able to read, write, and communicate effectively in English.

Responsibilities

• Maintain shipping and receiving area; keep it organized and safe.
• Assist with loading and unloading trucks and schedule shipments.
• Create Bills of Lading (BOLs) for shipments.
• Interact with customers to clarify discrepancies and communicate schedules.
• Inspect and record incoming/outgoing orders for count, damage, dates, etc.
• Report irregularities to supervisor and follow safety procedures.
