Job summary

Penske Logistics is seeking Shipping & Receiving Clerks to join a safety‑conscious team in a warehouse setting. You will handle paperwork for shipments, interact with warehouse staff and carriers, and support invoicing and reporting tasks.

The role runs Monday–Friday, 7:00 AM to 3:30 PM, with weekends and OT as needed. Compensation starts at $21.00/hour plus benefits including insurance and a 401K.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
• Minimum 2 years of general office experience.
• Minimum 1 year of shipping/receiving experience preferred.
• Strong MS Office skills required (Word/Excel/Outlook/PowerPoint).
• Ability to read, write and communicate in English.

Responsibilities

• Perform various office and administrative duties including accounts payable/receivable, payroll, and billing.
• Maintain files, perform customer service interactions and pallet tracking resolutions.
• Processing inbound and outbound shipments in the warehouse and coordinating with carriers.
• Support daily/weekly reporting and assist supervisors to meet warehouse metrics.

Penske Logistics is looking for Shipping & Receiving Clerks to become part of an excellent team. Responsible for shipping and receiving procedures. Responsible for ensuring that the paperwork for all shipments leaving the distribution center is complete and accurate. You will utilize various systems and frequently interact with warehouse personnel and carriers.

Work Schedule:

Monday- Friday, 7:00 AM to 3:30 PM

Weekends and OT as required by business needs

Compensation:

$21.00 per hour

Major Responsibilities:

• Various office and administrative duties, which may include handling accounts payable/receivable and collections, payroll, fuel reconciliation, office supplies, billing, maintaining database and miscellaneous reporting
• Reporting, maintain of files, customer service interaction, resolution of pallet tracking.
• Involve Safety team as required by location
• Processing Inbound and Outbound shipments in the warehouse
• Control the flow of work to meet departure and receiving times
• Resolve discrepancies
• Interact with warehouse associates and trouble shoot issues
• Assist with daily and weekly reports
• Jointly work with Supervisors and Management to meet warehouse metrics
• Prioritize workload and have flexibility to adjust based on position requirements
• Other projects and tasks assigned by Supervisor
• High school diploma or equivalent preferred
• 2 years of general office experience required
• 1 year of shipping/receiving experience preferred
• 1 year of customer service experience required
• Advanced computer skills including Microsoft Word, Excel, Outlook and PowerPoint required
• AS400 experience preferred
• Regular, predictable, full attendance is an essential function of the job
• Willingness to travel as necessary, work the required schedule, work at the specific location required, complete Penske employment application, submit to a background investigation (to include past employment, education, and criminal history) and drug screening.
• Candidate must be able to read, write and verbally communicate in English.
