Magna Exteriors is seeking a Shipping & Receiving associate for the Magna Decostar facility. The role requires forklift certification, strong Microsoft Office skills, and at least 2 years of shipping/receiving experience.

You will handle records, prepare bills of lading, and coordinate truck loading and unloading while maintaining accurate inventory traceability. Strong organizational ability and color discernment are essential.

Competenze

• Previous shipping and receiving experience preferred.

• Must have strong computer skills in Microsoft Office package.

Because we believe that your career path should be as unique as you are.Group Summary:The Magna Exteriors portfolio of products includes access systems such as liftgates, exterior trim, modular systems, front-end modules including fascia, active aerodynamic systems and other lightweight structural components for automotive, commercial truck and other industrial markets.Recognized globally as an innovator in all aspects of vehicle exteriors, Magna provides everything needed, from materials development and design through manufacturing and assembly, to help automakers create sleek, state-of-the-art vehicles across the world.Job Responsibilities:SHIFT SCHEDULE:SUNDAY - THURSDAY10:40 PM TO 7:10 AMEVERY OTHER WEEKEND IF NEEDEDJOB SUMMARY:This position will ensure that shipping and receiving material, goods and packages are efficiently moving through or out of Decostar and all accompanying documents are in order and accurate to ensure that customer deadlines are met or exceeded.QUALIFICATIONS NECESSARY TO DO THE JOB:Previous shipping and receiving experience preferredProven good understanding of warehousing, inventory management, shipping and receiving procedures are preferred.Must have strong computer skills in Microsoft package.Must have at least 2+ years Forklift certified and able to undergo Magna Decostar testing.Must have demonstrated strong organizational skills.Must be able to distinguish color.MAIN DUTIES:Prepare and verify records of receipt of incoming material and equipment and posts to open order of suppliers. Notifies departments of received packages, etc.Participate in continuous improvement programs and activities to ensure meeting of departmental performance objectives.Establish and maintain auditable records of all receipts and shipments.Input and retrieve data from computer to record, update and monitor shipments and dispositions to ensure we are supporting our customer(s).Assist with loading and unloading trucks, which requires driving a forklift and lifting of packages.Coordinate and arrange trucks in a timely fashion to ensure goods are shipped from Decostar.Prepare accurate bills of lading, dray tickets, and shipping documents.Coordinate and complete physical inventories and cycle counts as scheduled.
