Job summary

Magna Exteriors is seeking a Shipping Receiving Coordinator in Spring Hill, TN. The role focuses on preparing paperwork for domestic and export shipments, coordinating with freight carriers, and maintaining shipping records.

You will handle incoming parts, verify packing lists, input data, and print labels, while coordinating trailer movements and addressing urgent shipments. A high school diploma is required, with AS degree preferred.

• Must have good math skills.
• Must have ability to create spread sheets.
• Ability to handle multiple tasks simultaneously while maintaining a calm, professional demeanor.

Responsibilities

• Prepares paperwork for both domestic and export shipments and coordinates with freight carriers to ensure that product is shipped out correctly and in a timely manner.
• Maintains filing systems and completes controlling documents pertaining to shipping.
• Receives materials and records/distributes as required.
• Receives all incoming parts and materials, completing all appropriate paperwork.
• Verifies packing lists/manifests.
• Inputs data into the computer system, separated documents for distribution or data input.
• Creates and prints bar code labels.
• Set up carriers for shipment pick-up (LTL).
• Coordinates trailer movements with trucking company.
• Expedites or traces hot shipments.
• Maintains an acceptable attendance record and works overtime as required.

Receives materials and record/distribute as required**Specific Job Duties*** Receives all incoming parts and materials, completing all appropriate paperwork* Verifies packing lists/manifests* Inputs data into the computer system, separated documents for distribution or data input* Originates and distributes Defective Material Reports if material does not meet specifications.* Disperses parts and materials to assigned areas* Verify SDS is on file for all Hazardous Waste materials received* Operates Pallet Jack to move material* Prepares shipping documents for all domestic and export shipments without assistance or error.* Set up carriers for shipment pick-up.
