Responsibilities

• Keeps records on incoming shipments.
• Verify incoming shipments against bills of lading, invoices, and orders; record counts and measurements.
• Route items to departments.
• Examine incoming shipments to ensure they meet specifications.
• Ensure compliance with Avmax standards and procedures.
• Maintain inventory of shipping materials and supplies.
• General upkeep of the receiving area.

Reporting Structure

The Shipping/Receiving Clerk reports directly to the Materials Manager.

Key Performance Indicators / Duties And Responsibilities

• Keeps records on incoming shipments.
• Compare identifying information and counts, weighs, or measures items of incoming shipments to verify information against bills of lading, invoices, orders, or other records.
• Route items to departments.
• Examine incoming shipments to ensure shipments meet specifications.
• Ensure compliance with the Avmax Montana RSQCM.
• Maintain inventory of shipping materials and supplies.
• General upkeep of the receiving area.

Experience

• Minimum 1 year of experience in a similar role.
• Aviation experience is preferred.
