Responsibilities

• Maintain records of all incoming shipments, checking against purchase orders and packing slips.
• Receive and package UPS shipments using UPS labeling system.
• Store merchandise in proper warehouse areas and stage for receiving.
• Pull merchandise for will call and store transfers with paperwork.
• Load and unload freight trucks and coordinate showroom stocking with inside sales.
• General warehouse and showroom housekeeping; follow safety requirements.

Job description

Frank's Supply Company is a major supplier of construction tools and equipment with our focus on both sales and rental. We are currently seeking a qualified SHIPPING & RECEIVING CLERK for our El Paso, TX location.

OBJECTIVE

This position assists the entire organization by ensuring accurate inventory, timely shipments, and well maintained showrooms ensuring customer satisfaction.

RESPONSIBILITIES

• Maintain records of all incoming shipments, checking shipments against purchase orders and packing slips
• Receiving and packaging UPS shipments using UPS labeling system
• Assures merchandise is stored in the proper area of the warehouse
• Pull merchandise for customer will call and store transfers completing all associated paperwork
• Loading and/or unloading freight trucks and properly staging merchandise for receiving
• Loading customer merchandise
• Coordinate with inside sales stocking of the showroom
• General housekeeping as needed in the warehouse and showroom
• Adhere to all governmental, company and equipment related safety requirements

Qualified applicants will have

• The ability to consistently lift packages up to 50 pounds
• The required skills to demonstrate proficient use of all job support tools
• The ability to operate forklifts, hand trucks and material handling equipment
