Multiquip Inc. in Lewisville, Texas, is seeking a Shipping/Receiving Associate I to manage shipping operations for power equipment products.

You will pull, stage and prepare materials, coordinate with management and operate forklifts and basic cranes as needed. The role requires a high school diploma or GED and 3–6 months of related experience in manufacturing or distribution, with SAP experience preferred and forklift certification required.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required; 3–6 months experience in manufacturing/distribution environment.
• Experience with SAP (or similar software) desirable.
• Proficient in operating a forklift.
• Experience with heavy equipment.
• Demonstrated experience in accuracy and attention to detail.

Position Title:

Shipping/Receiving Associate I

This position is responsible for performing the shipping functions as outlined below for power equipment products.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

• 1. Performs the shipping process, including small parcels (UPS, FedEx), skids (LTL), and larger flat-bed / direct to customer loads
• 2. Pulls, stages, and prepares materials and paperwork
• 3. Must be able to communicate properly with levels of management
• 4. Basic knowledge of loading heavy equipment with a forklift and overhead crane
• 5. Assist in developing and executing methods/procedures to improve the Shipping/Receiving process
• 6. All other duties as assigned by Supervisor
• 7. Regular and predictable attendance is required

Education and/or Work Experience Requirements:

• High School Graduate or Equivalent; three to six months experience in related field in a manufacturing/distribution environment
• Experience with SAP (or similar software) desirable.
• Proficient in operating a forklift
• Experience with heavy equipment
• Demonstrated experience in accuracy and attention to detail

Licenses, Certifications and Registrations:

Forklift certification is required.

Compensation and Benefits:

• Pay wage: $19.00- 21.00 / Hour
