Job summary

Sunbelt Supply, a FloWorks International LLC subsidiary, seeks a Warehouse Associate I to verify inbound/outbound shipments, prepare items for shipment, and route materials within the dock and staging areas in Texas City, TX.

The role requires forklift operation experience, HS diploma or GED, and familiarity with SAP; candidates should be detail-oriented, able to follow safety policies, and proficient with MS Office and internal communications.

Qualifications

• HS Diploma or GED required.
• 0-2 years of experience in area of responsibility.
• Knowledge of typical warehouse equipment, machines and tools.
• Material Resource Planning and/or production control experience with SAP.
• Knowledge of electrical, pneumatic, and hydraulic control systems.

Responsibilities

• Coordinating activities in the Shipping/Receiving Dock including unloading and loading semi-trucks, UPS, and FedEx trucks.
• Responsible for incoming and outgoing products and goods; packaging and preparing LTL shipment and documentation.
• Routing material to either staging or shipping areas.
• Must be mechanically inclined.
• Ability to work on valve automation and assembly with direction from the warehouse supervisor.
• Must be experienced operating a forklift; certification is a plus.
• Use Microsoft Office, Outlook, and additional software to track and communicate internally, as well as with customers, carriers and suppliers.
• Maintains condition of work area; follows safety policies and encourages others to do the same.
• Attention to detail and highly organized; able to prioritize work.

Job Information

The Warehouse Associate is responsible for verifying and keeping records on incoming and outgoing shipments and prepares items for shipment by performing the following duties to quality and productivity standards.

Key Responsibilities

• Coordinating activities in the Shipping/Receiving Dock including Unloading and loading semi-trucks, U.P.S. and FedEx trucks
• Responsible for incoming and outgoing products and goods. Packaging and preparing LTL shipment and documentation
• Routing material to either staging or shipping areas
• Mechanically Inclined
• Ability to work on Valve automation and Assembly with direct from the warehouse supervisor

• Knowledge of electrical, pneumatic, and hydraulic control systems
• Valid driver’s license
