Job summary

Nothum Food Processing Systems is seeking a detail-oriented warehouse associate to support receiving, stocking, and shipping operations at our Springfield facility. You will verify materials against purchase orders, update ERP/CRM records, and prepare shipments with care to ensure accurate orders and timely deliveries.

Responsibilities include cycle counts, labeling inventory, and organizing items for production in a fast-paced, climate-controlled environment.

Qualifications

• High school diploma.
• 1+ year material handling experience preferred.
• Forklift and pallet jack experience required.

Responsibilities

• Unload delivery trucks and verify incoming materials against purchase orders.
• Receive purchase orders into the system once materials are confirmed.
• Enter quantities of parts issued into the database accurately.
• Review pick sheets, pull, and stage materials for production.
• Prepare packages for shipment and schedule outgoing deliveries.
• Monitor supply levels closely and report needs to purchasing personnel.
• Perform daily, monthly, and quarterly cycle counts; participate in physical inventory.
• Maintain a neat, clean, and orderly warehouse.
• Create labels for all in-stock inventory.
• Move and organize items from the floor to the Modula system.
• Assist with production requests.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
• Accurately generate quotes, pricing, and orders using CRM and ERP systems.
• Apply basic mathematical skills to pricing, discounts, quoting, and order accuracy.
• Ensure timely follow-up on quotes, orders, and customer inquiries to support revenue conversion.

Education & Experience

• Minimum of one year of material handling experience preferred Forklift and pallet jack experience required

Work Environment

• Work performed primarily indoors in a climate-controlled manufacturing environment.
• Regular exposure to moving machinery, energized equipment, and industrial tools.
• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs unassisted.
• Frequent standing, walking, kneeling, stooping, climbing, and reaching.
• Occasional work at heights using ladders or scissor lifts.
• Occasional flexible hours or Saturday work to support preventive maintenance activities.
• Local travel between company locations as needed >20%
