Job summary

Momentum Manufacturing Group is seeking a Warehouse Associate to receive and deliver raw materials and support our product distribution. You will verify quantities, enter ERP transactions, and move materials to staging areas.

You will package parts for shipment, arrange carrier pickups, and maintain a safe, clean warehouse. Two years of related experience preferred; ERP/MRP experience is a plus.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED preferred.
• Minimum of two years related experience required.
• Experience with ERP/MRP systems is a plus.
• Basic computer skills required.

Responsibilities

• Verify quantity and quality of incoming deliveries.
• Enter material transactions in ERP and move materials to staging areas.
• Package parts securely for shipment.
• Arrange carrier pickups per customer PO.
• Transfer scrap material to scrap bins.
• Maintain inventory of shipping materials.
• Assist in weekly/monthly cycle counts.
• Operate forklift or pallet jack to move materials.
• Maintain a safe, clean warehouse environment.
• Collaborate with all departments to support operations.
• Perform other duties as assigned.

Job Summary

This position is primarily responsible for receiving and delivering raw material. Position will provide ongoing support to product distribution channel.

Responsibilities

• Verify accuracy of quantity and quality of incoming deliveries.
• Responsible for receiving raw material by entering transactions into ERP system and delivering material to staging areas.
• Packages parts carefully in protective wrap for shipment to customers.
• Responsible for making arrangements for pick up by the carrier specified on the customer’s purchase order.
• Responsible for transferring scrap material to the scrap bins as required.
• Maintains inventory of shipping materials and supplies.
• Assist in weekly/monthly/quarterly cycle counts.
• Operates lift trucks or hand trucks to convey, move or hoist materials to proper departments or areas.
• Contributes to team effort by accomplishing related results as needed.
• Maintains a safe and clean working environment by complying with procedures, rules and regulations.
• Work closely with all departments in a manner that supports the business and encourages and builds a positive relationship.
• Preforms other duties as assigned.

Additional Responsibilities

• Ensure all safety rules are strictly observed.
• Maintain neat, clean and orderly warehouse appearance.
• Ability to work extended hours/over-time as needed as well as some Saturdays.
• Adhere to all company policies and safety procedures and guidelines.
• Conform to all quality and safety procedures.
• Required to operate a forklift, pallet jack and other warehouse equipment.

Education, Experience And/or Skills Required

• High School Diploma or GED preferred.
• Minimum of two years of related experience.
• Requires basic computer skills.
• Experience in ERP/MRP computer system a plus.

Work Environment

This position operates in both office and manufacturing floor environments. Exposure to noise, machinery, temperature variation, and industrial conditions may occur when accessing plant areas.
