Job summary

TalentTeam is seeking a reliable Warehouse Associate in Salt Lake City to join our distribution team. The role handles receiving, stocking, order picking, shipping, and forklift operation on a steady Monday–Friday schedule with a 8:00am–5:00pm shift.

The position is permanent with benefits and a starting pay around $19 per hour. Ideal candidates have at least one year of warehouse experience, familiarity with RF scanning, and the ability to work in a fast-paced environment while maintaining

Qualifications

• Minimum 1 year of experience in a distribution or manufacturing warehouse.
• Experience using electronic manifesting systems.

Responsibilities

• Receive inbound shipments and place items in designated areas.
• Verify, lift, count and prepare merchandise for shipment.
• Verify incoming shipments; stock merchandise and expedite orders.
• Operate RF scanner; forklift and related warehouse equipment.
• Maintain organized, detail-oriented workflow and meet deadlines.

Responsibilities

• Receive inbound shipments and place in designated areas
• Locates, verifies, lifts, selects, counts, and inserts merchandise into containers for shipment
• Verifies incoming shipments, regularly lifts and stacks cases of merchandise, expedites shipment from receiving area and stocks merchandise in designated area
• Must possess a comprehensive understanding of the receiving, stocking, order pulling and shipping functions of a distribution warehouse
• Operates equipment such as an RF Scanner
• Expedites outgoing shipment to designated shipping area
• Operates forklift

Expertise & Aptitudes

• One year experience in a distribution or manufacturing warehouse
• Experience with electronic manifesting systems

Time & Priority Management
