Job summary

Value Added Distributors is seeking a Shipping & Receiving Associate to manage inbound/outbound shipments, inventory, and warehouse operations in Redgranite, WI. This role reports to the Branch Manager and supports daily shipping, receiving, and inventory control with attention to accuracy.

The position runs Monday through Friday, 8:00 AM–4:30 PM, with overtime as needed. Benefits include Medical, Dental, Vision, 401(k) with Employer Match, PTO, Holiday Pay, and more.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Must be at least 18 years old.
• Previous experience in supply chain, logistics, shipping, receiving, or warehouse operations preferred.
• Ability to safely lift up to 50 pounds using proper lifting techniques.
• Previous knowledge of hydraulic components is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Stock incoming products onto warehouse shelves.
• Pick and pull customer orders with a high degree of accuracy.
• Coordinate shipping and receiving activities with carriers such as UPS, FedEx, Spee-Dee, and LTL freight providers.
• Complete data entry and maintain accurate records within company systems.
• Break down skids and organize incoming shipments.
• Assist with inventory control and product flow to the production floor.
• Deliver products to the proper inventory location, department, or personnel.
• Operate a forklift and other warehouse equipment (training provided).
• Support continuous improvement and quality initiatives.
• Follow all company policies, procedures, and safety standards.
• Cross-train in multiple areas of the business as needed.
• Support the VAC vision, mission, and values by aligning daily performance with company objectives.
• Perform additional duties as assigned to meet business and regulatory requirements.

Shipping & Receiving Associate

Value Added Distributors is looking for a driven, hardworking, and enthusiastic Shipping & Receiving Associate to join our team in Redgranite, WI. This position reports to the Branch Manager and supports daily shipping, receiving, inventory control, and warehouse operations.

Job Summary

Preferred Certifications

Work Environment

This position is performed primarily in warehouse, production, and loading dock environments that may not be climate controlled.
