Job summary

AptarGroup, Inc. is seeking a Shipping Coordinator to administratively coordinate daily departmental activities in Eatontown, NJ. The role involves communication with Customer Service, Customers, and Transport Suppliers, and ensuring shipping documentation is accurate and complete.

You will document daily picks, delegate tasks, process bills of lading via SAP, and liaise with transport partners. Onsite role with an emphasis on precise records and efficient logistics operations.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED.
• Valid Forklift Certificate.
• Two years in a Manufacturing Environment.
• Two years in the Shipping Environment.
• SAP Experience Preferred.
• Cycle counting experience.
• Data analysis experience.

Responsibilities

• Document daily pick activities.
• Delegate pick to order pickers.
• Process and create bills of landing, and other shipping documents as needed via SAP.
• Contact transport suppliers and arrange for pick-ups.
• Communicate with Customer Relations and Customers regarding delivery status.
• Maintain accurate and organized shipping documents.
• Maintain various Shipping activity files including logs and contact lists.
• Work on the resolution of paperwork problems.
• Coordinate the re-labelling of reallocated inventory.
• Master operation of equipment (Drexel, stand up forklift, sit down forklift & electric pallet jack).
• Support the external warehouse.
• Assess and resolve issues pertaining to the warehouse.

We have an exciting position openfor a Shipping Coordinator in Eatontown, NJ. This role is responsible for administratively coordinating the daily activities of the department in accordance with the Daily Pick List Release through communication with Customer Service, Customers & Transport Suppliers. Process and maintain all shipping related documentation. Perform analysis of daily activities & various other projects.

This is how your journey begins:

• You will document daily pick activities.

• You will support the external warehouse.
• You must be able to assess and resolve issues pertaining to the warehouse (i.e. issues with scanned material) to progress into another level.
