Job summary

Aptar is seeking a Shipping Coordinator in Eatontown, NJ to coordinate daily shipping activities, process documents in SAP, and liaise with customers and transport providers. You will manage pick activities, relabel inventory as needed, and ensure accurate shipping records while supporting the external warehouse and driving continuous improvement.

The role requires forklift operation, SAP experience, and strong English communication.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• Two years in a Manufacturing Environment.
• Two years in the Shipping Environment.
• SAP experience preferred.
• Cycle counting and data analysis experience.
• English communication skills required.

Responsibilities

• Document daily pick activities.
• Delegate pick to order pickers.
• Process and create bills of landing, and other shipping documents as needed via SAP.
• Contact transport suppliers and arrange for pick-ups.
• Communicate delivery status with Customer Relations and Customers.
• Maintain shipping documents and logs.
• Coordinate relabelling of reallocated inventory.
• Operate equipment including Drexel, stand up forklift, sit down forklift and electric pallet jack.
• Support the external warehouse.
• Resolve paperwork issues.
• Assist with root cause analysis and preventive actions.
• Travel: No travel required.

We have an exciting position openfor a Shipping Coordinator in Eatontown, NJ. This role is responsible for administratively coordinating the daily activities of the department in accordance with the Daily Pick List Release through communication with Customer Service, Customers & Transport Suppliers. Process and maintain all shipping related documentation. Perform analysis of daily activities & various other projects.

This is how your journey begins:

• You will document daily pick activities.
• You will delegate pick to order pickers.
• You will process and create bills of landing, and other shipping documents as needed via SAP.
• You will contact transport suppliers and arrange for pick-ups.
• You will communicate with Customer Relations and Customers regarding delivery status.
• You will maintain accurate and organized shipping documents.
• You will maintain various Shipping activity siles included but not limited to Customer delivery activity log, Safety Meeting log, Shipping activity log, and Transport Carrier Contact list.
• You will work on the resolution of paperwork problems.
• You will coordinate the re-labelling of reallocated inventory.
• You must master operation of all types of equipment (Drexel, stand up forklift, sit down forklift & electric pallet jack)
• You will support the external warehouse.
• You must be able to assess and resolve issues pertaining to the warehouse (i.e. issues with scanned material) to progress into another level.
