Custom Staffing in Marion, OH is hiring a Shipping & Receiving Associate to support accurate, safe, and timely shipping, receiving, and weekly deliveries. This temp-to-hire position operates Monday–Friday, 8:30 AM–4:30 PM, with overtime and weekends as needed.

Responsibilities include verifying shipments, packing and shipping, documenting discrepancies, using shipping software, operating a forklift, and maintaining safety and accuracy.

Competenze

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Basic reading, writing, math, computer and MS Office skills.
• Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record.
• Knowledge of travel logistics.
• Strong customer service and teamwork skills.

• Verify inbound and outbound shipments for accurate parts, quantities, destinations, methods, costs, and documentation.
• Pack, crate, track, ship, and deliver orders safely and on schedule while meeting customer, carrier, and regulatory requirements.
• Document lost, damaged, or returned items; provide daily shipment updates and obtain signed delivery records for invoicing.
• Maintain shipping software and the shipping inbox and follow all Shipping & Receiving procedures.
• Safely operate a forklift and company vehicles, maintain required certification, and keep work areas and equipment clean and secure.
• Etch identification on manufactured parts, protect confidential information, and perform other duties as assigned.

Custom Staffing is hiring a Shipping & Receiving Associate for a local manufacturer in Marion, OH. This temp-to-hire role supports accurate, safe, and timely shipping, receiving, and weekly deliveries.

Position: Shipping & Receiving Associate

Schedule: Monday–Friday, 8:30 - 4:30pm (Overtime and weekends as needed)

Pay: $22/hour

Employment: Temp-to-hire

Key Responsibilities

• Verify inbound and outbound shipments for accurate parts, quantities, destinations, methods, costs, and documentation.
• Pack, crate, track, ship, and deliver orders safely and on schedule while meeting customer, carrier, and regulatory requirements.
• Document lost, damaged, or returned items; provide daily shipment updates and obtain signed delivery records for invoicing.
• Maintain shipping software and the shipping inbox and follow all Shipping & Receiving procedures.

Physical Requirements

• Must pass pre-employment physical testing.
• Frequently move up to 40 pounds and lift up to 75 pounds.
• Use a buddy system for heavier items.

Requirements
