Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
• Experience in shipping/receiving or warehouse logistics preferred.
• Ability to read and interpret purchase orders and packing slips.
• Proficient in basic data entry and computer use.
• Strong attention to detail and organization.

Responsibilities

• Receive, inspect, organize, store, and ship materials.
• Process incoming/outgoing shipments on schedule while staying safe.
• Verify contents against orders and packing slips.
• Inspect for damage or discrepancies and report issues.
• Package and label customer orders and materials.
• Operate forklifts and pallet jacks as allowed.
• Load/unload trucks safely.
• Maintain inventory records and assist with cycle counts.
• Enter shipping data into warehouse systems.
• Generate bills of lading and shipping documents.
• Coordinate with purchasing, production, sales, drivers, vendors.
• Maintain clean, safe work area and follow OSHA rules.

Job Title: Shipping & Receiving Associate

Location: Baltimore, MD 21226 (onsite)

Type: Direct Hire

Compensation: $49,920.00 – $58,240.00

Responsibilities

• Responsible for efficiently and accurately receiving, inspecting, organizing, storing, and shipping materials, products, and merchandise.
• Ensure incoming and outgoing shipments are processed accurately and on schedule while maintaining a safe, clean, and organized warehouse environment.
• Receive incoming shipments and verify contents against purchase orders, packing slips, and shipping documents.
• Inspect shipments for accuracy, damage, shortages, or discrepancies and report issues to the appropriate personnel.
• Prepare, package, label, and ship customer orders and company materials.
• Operate forklifts, pallet jacks, hand trucks, and other warehouse equipment as authorized.
• Load and unload trucks safely and efficiently.
• Maintain accurate inventory records and assist with cycle counts and physical inventory.
• Enter shipping and receiving information into computer systems or warehouse management systems.
• Generate and maintain bills of lading, packing slips, shipping labels, and other required documentation.
• Organize and store materials in designated locations while maintaining proper inventory rotation.
• Coordinate with purchasing, production, sales, drivers, vendors, and customers regarding shipments and deliveries.
• Monitor incoming and outgoing shipments and help resolve delivery or receiving discrepancies.
• Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work area in accordance with company safety procedures.
• Follow OSHA, company, and other applicable safety requirements.
• Assist with general warehouse duties and other responsibilities as assigned.

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
• Previous shipping, receiving, warehouse, logistics, or inventory experience preferred.
• Ability to read and interpret purchase orders, packing slips, shipping documents, and labels.
• Basic computer and data-entry skills.
• Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
• Ability to lift, carry, push, and pull materials as required by the position.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Forklift certification or experience preferred.
• Reliable attendance and a strong commitment to workplace safety.
