Job summary

RTX is seeking a warehouse associate in Jamestown, ND for onsite work. You will prepare items for shipping, receive and ship inventory, and maintain accurate stock levels.

You will use forklifts and computer systems, coordinate with teams, and perform cycle counts to ensure inventory accuracy. The role requires a high school diploma or GED, ability to work independently or in a team, strong organizational skills, and adherence to EH&S policies.

Job description

Location: US-ND-JAMESTOWN, Plant 1. Position Type: Onsite. U.S. citizenship is required. Security Clearance: None/Not Required.

What You Will Do

• Prepare items for shipping, noting item contents, delivery methods, and other logistical details using proper procedures and materials.
• Receive, check, store, issue, and ship a variety of items and maintain inventory control.
• Use assistance and/or powered mechanical means (including forklifts) to load, unload, store, and deliver a variety of incoming and outgoing material.
• Proficiently use computer hardware/software.
• Maintain contact with personnel from various customers and support areas to ensure accuracy of material/process.
• Perform cycle counts of applicable inventory per the cycle count process requirements.
• Use assorted measuring and weight recording devices.
• Keep equipment and surrounding areas neat and clean.

You Must Have

• High school diploma or equivalent (e.g., GED) or vocational/technical education in a related discipline.
• Ability to work independently and within a team.
• Exceptional organizational skills and ability to multitask.
• Adherence to all EH&S regulations and policies and completion of required EH&S training courses.
• Follow the EH&S roles and responsibilities in accordance with Cargo Policy MP 5322.
