Job summary

MW Industries, Inc. in Houston is seeking a Shipping & Receiving Associate II to verify, pre-pack, document, package per special instructions, and ship springs and wire-forms.

You will read packaging requirements and use Syteline to check due dates, then maintain a clean, organized shipping area while coordinating with quality and purchasing. The role requires at least two years in shipping/receiving, forklift experience, and the ability to lift up to 50 lbs.

Qualifications

• Minimum two years in shipping, receiving, warehouse, or material handling.
• Experience using forklifts, pallet jacks, or similar equipment.
• Read and interpret packing lists, purchase orders, work orders, and shipping documents.
• Intermediate understanding of logistics, freight carriers, and warehouse procedures.

Responsibilities

• Verify and match job/PO to material and route to quality if needed.
• Bring parts accepted from quality to the shipping area.
• Check order due dates in Syteline to manage inventory for shipments.
• Pre-package parts in appropriate quantities for multi-release orders.
• Read jobs for specific packaging instructions or special requests.
• Package for outside processes and route paperwork to purchasing.
• Ensure proper documentation is included with parts from quality or customer service.
• Print pick lists and follow packaging requests from customer service.
• Package parts in the correct size box with labels and proper disposition.
• Process paperwork and maintain a clean, organized shipping area.
• Other tasks as requested

The Shipping & Receiving Associate II will verify, pre-package, document, package per special instructions, and ship springs and other wire-forms.

SUPERVISORY RESPONSIBILITIES:

This role does not have supervisory responsibilities.

ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS

• • Verify and match job/P.O. to plater/broker material that comes in from UPS or carrier and send to quality if necessary.
  • Bring parts that have been accepted from quality to the shipping area.
  • When parts come back from quality or come in from the platers and do not require a quality check; look in Syteline for order due date to see if job/order is late or needs to be located in inventory for a future shipment.
  • Pre-package parts in appropriate quantity if multiple releases.
  • Read jobs for specific instructions for packaging requirements, special request, or process that needs to be completed before shipping.
  • Package for any outside process and put paperwork in job tray to purchasing.
  • Get all proper documentation to be sent with parts from quality or customer service.
  • Print out pick list and follow any packaging request or special instructions from customer service.
  • Package parts in the appropriate size box, label, and disposition to the correct area or location.
  • Process paperwork accordingly and place with parts or in shipping tray.
  • Keep a clean and organized work area.
  • Other tasks as requested

EDUCATION & EXPERIENCE

Required

• Minimum two (2) years of experience in shipping, receiving, warehouse, or material handling.
• Experience using forklifts, pallet jacks, or similar equipment
• Intermediate understanding of logistics, freight carriers, and warehouse procedures.
• Ability to read and interpret packing lists, purchase orders, work orders, and shipping documents.
