Juniper Design Group is seeking a Shipping & Quality Control Associate in Southington, CT. You will manage QA and shipping operations, verify orders, package and ship client products, inspect goods, and maintain inventory to support production.

Excellent customer service and precision are essential in a high-energy team. The role requires attention to detail, ability to follow SOPs, and strong computer skills.

Qualifications

• Experience in shipping and receiving or related role.
• Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
• Ability to read and follow written instructions.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Ability to thrive in fast-paced, collaborative environment and follow SOPs.

• Ability to read orders and match to shipping tickets.

Responsibilities

• Verify purchase orders match outgoing orders for accuracy.
• Inspect outgoing products for quality and specs.
• Identify and address defects; document corrective actions.
• Receive and inspect incoming products; document defects or failures.
• Cross-check purchase orders, packing lists, and shipment docs.
• Investigate discrepancies between PO and shipments.
• Package orders per packaging specs; use appropriate methods when specs are absent.
• Communicate with clients to arrange pickups and answer shipping questions.
• Wrap and strap pallets for safe freight transport.
• Prepare complete and accurate international shipping documents.
• Fill customer orders accurately and on time.
• Maintain a clean, organized shipping area and inventory.
• Coordinate with Production and Operations to maintain shipping supply inventory.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
