Job summary

Staffmark Group is seeking a Shipping and Receiving Purchasing Associate in Temecula, CA to manage purchasing, inventory control, shipping, receiving, and logistics for manufacturing operations. The role collaborates with suppliers, production teams, and warehouse staff to ensure material availability and accurate inventory.

Qualifications include 5+ years in purchasing or related areas, ERP experience (Great Plains preferred), and strong communication skills.

Qualifications

5+ years of purchasing, inventory control, shipping, receiving, or supply chain experience.
Experience with MRP and MRO planning.
Proficiency with ERP systems (Great Plains experience is a plus).
Intermediate math and computer skills.
Strong written and verbal communication skills.
1-2 years of supervisory experience preferred.

Responsibilities

Oversee purchasing, inventory control, shipping, receiving, and logistics operations.
Process daily shipping, receiving, and inventory transactions.
Manage purchase orders, vendor relationships, and delivery schedules.
Coordinate domestic and international shipments to support production needs.
Maintain inventory accuracy and material availability for manufacturing.
Investigate supplier quality issues and implement corrective actions.
Monitor packaging supplies and assist with packaging improvements.
Operate warehouse equipment and support shipping/receiving teams as needed.
Follow company safety procedures and production schedules.
