Qualifications

• Must have a High School diploma or GED.
• Minimum of 1 year experience, preferably in manufacturing.
• Six months at Hexcel Casa Grande may substitute for 1 year experience.
• Proficient in use of tape measure and ruler.
• Basic working knowledge of computer data entry preferred.
• Able to read and interpret safety rules, operating instructions, and manuals.
• Able to write routine reports and correspondence.
• Able to speak effectively before groups of people.
• Able to calculate figures and percentages, algebra and geometry.

Responsibilities

• Package finished product to specifications.
• Create crates, pallets, and boxes for shipping.
• Determine if product needs palletizing or crating.
• Select finished products using due date list and sales orders.
• Verify quantity and dimensions before sign-off by production.
• Move materials with forklift and construct boxes and crates.
• Order lumber, cardboard, and packing materials as needed.
• Read routers and sales orders; log test pieces and labels.
