Job summary

Mars, Incorporated is seeking a Shipping Operator for our Royal Canin facility in Freemont, NE. This day shift (2-2-3) role supports efficient production, safety, and quality by operating equipment, maintaining inventories, and coordinating with the shipping team.

The ideal candidate will have forklift certification, experience with WMS and BOL processes, a high school diploma or GED, and strong English communication. We offer comprehensive benefits and a competitive compensation package.

Qualifications

• Must have a High school diploma, GED or equivalent education.
• Forklift certified and valid driver’s license.
• Knowledge of inventory computer systems and WMS.
• Food manufacturing experience and knowledge of food safety.
• Knowledge of GMPs and good manufacturing practices.

Responsibilities

• Operate equipment in a safe and efficient manner.
• Perform periodic and routine inventories of raw materials in storage.
• Provide and perform routine maintenance checks on equipment.
• Assist in other production, sanitation, maintenance, and quality activity as directed.
• Loading trucks, live loads and staged loads.
• Direct ship responsibility including proper disposition of hold product, food safety hold product and released product.
• WMS, BOL responsibility / accountability.
