Job summary

Royal Canin is seeking a Shipping Operator for a 2-2-3 day shift at our Freemont, NE facility. The role focuses on safe operation of equipment, inventory control, and adherence to food safety and GMP standards.

You will work as part of an area team to ensure efficient production of quality products, train or assist others, and communicate across shifts to maintain safety, quality, and productivity. The position requires strong teamwork and reliability in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

• Be 18 years of age or older.
• Have a High school diploma, GED or equivalent education.
• Must be willing and able to work and accept varying shifts and schedules.
• Ability to understand and effectively communicate in the English language.

Responsibilities

• Operate equipment in a safe and efficient manner at all times.
• Perform periodic and routine inventories of raw materials in storage.
• Provide and perform routine maintenance checks on equipment.
• Assist in other production, sanitation, maintenance, and quality activity in other areas as directed.
• Perform housekeeping and sanitation procedures.
• Provide functional communication with other staff members as necessary to optimize quality, efficiency, productivity and safety.
• Loading trucks, live loads and staged loads.
• Ability to operate Fork lift – (Expert Level)
• Direct ship responsibility including proper disposition of hold product, food safety hold product and released product.
• WMS, BOL responsibility / accountability
• Support Warehouse Area Lead with all activities associated with shipping department
